New Year’s in Alaska!

What better time of year to visit Alaska than New Year’s in the dead of winter?! I was coerced into this frosty adventure by a good friend and promised an amazing New Year’s Eve at a concert by one of my favorite artists, Slow Magic. The day after the show, we decided to make the most out of our four hours of daylight by driving south from Anchorage to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Yellowstone National Park: Land of Geothermal Wonders

Yellowstone National Park is one of the most beautiful and diverse parks in the United States. It is renowned for its wide variety of geothermal features including geysers, mud-pots, hot springs, and its best-known geyser, Old Faithful. Yellowstone is also home to a plethora of wildlife species including bison, wolves, elk, moose, and several species of birds and bears.
